In Cold Blood [In Cold Blood]a US novel (1966) based on fact, written by Truman Capote. It is about the murder in 1959 of four members of a farming family in ↑Kansas. Capote talked in prison to the men who killed them, and his book tells their story. It was the first major novel in which specific events were described in a novel in this way. A film version was made in 1967 and it was also made into a TV series in 1996.
